Singing has always had its roots in community. Over the course pandemic in 2020, we had our sense of community disrupted, and isolation has taken hold. This choir was established in May 2021 as a way to rebuild and reconnect that community through singing.
No matter your ability, experience or age singing is a fantastic way to build new friendships, release stress and tension and have fun!
Created and Directed by Grace Allwood, Wall of Sound Community Choir sets out to provide a fun and inspiring creative outlet for those who love singing - no matter their ability.

Don’t worry whether you think you’re the best singer, the worst singer, or have never sung at all.
Wall of Sound Community Choir aims to be inclusive, and accessible to all.
(Apparently we’re also poets!)
We accept all ages.
Although we ask that anyone aged under 18 is accompanied by a responsible adult.
We aim to run as many as 48 rehearsals in a year!
Attend as many or as few as you like, simply by paying for each rehearsal you attend.
